Irish just getting warmed up (Rosemount Thisweek)

The Rosemount boys swimming and diving team has big things planned for this season. The team has been getting progressively better, finishing fourth last season at state, 13th in 2008, and 33rd in 2007.

Burnsville High School’s Blazettes finished in fifth place for high kick at the state tournament Feb. 13. They danced to “Black Violin,” a song that incorporated orchestra music and hip hop, team captains said. The team competed in the jazz funk competition on Feb. 12 to “Dare You to Move.” read more

MINNEAPOLIS - Stillwater's Liam Gibb made the cut to the semifinals, but failed to advance to the finals following Thursday's diving competition at the Class AA boys' swimming and diving state meet at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
